New Jordan CP 2'Quick Shoes for Basketball

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
Who is the best point guard in basketball? We all have our own choice as to who that is. There is no unanimous choice when that particular question is asked. We can all make strong arguments as to who is truly the best. Regardless of who you think is the best, there is an exclusive list of several point guards that are in the elite status. Only a few point guards in the NBA are able to control and take over a game like these "quarterbacks" of the basketball hardwood. Chris Paul is most definitely a point guard who belongs in this elite category. He has been named an NBA All-Star the last four seasons, led his New Orleans Hornets to the playoffs for the first time in team history, and has solidified himself as one of the best point guards in the NBA. And over the last five years, Paul has been elevating himself to elite status in his very own Jordan signature sneaker.
One of the newest Jordan shoes that Paul will be rocking on the hardwood just might be his best. The new shoe that has just dropped is the new Jordan CP 2'Quick. The Jordan CP 2'Quick was designed with Paul's quick, slashing game in mind. Chris Paul's game is one that includes perpetual quick cuts and sudden change of direction. To provide the ultimate in stability to compensate for Paul's game, this new shoe uses an external TPU heel wrap unit. In addition, a dual-density midsole is also used to create an increased level of stability. The upper of the shoe features a mesh upper that is extremely form fitting and allows for breathability and a smooth, comfortable ride. All of these innovative design elements make this one of the best new high performance low-cut basketball shoes.
One of the newest colorways of this shoe that has recently dropped is as flashy as Chris Paul's game. This pair of Jordan CP 2'Quick's is now available in a sick Black/Sunstone/Orion Blue colorway. Taking cues from Paul's New Orleans Hornets team, the shoe's upper is primarily Black and comes complete with patent leather. Orion Blue takes care of the midsole, heel cage, inner lining, and the solid rubber outsole. Sunstone is used on the Jumpman logo, CP branding on the tongue, and accents on the lacing system. This is one slick looking shoe in both design and color.
And no player in the NBA is better suited for the CP 2'Quick than man who the shoe is made for. The speed and quickness with which Chris Paul plays the game absolutely requires a low-cut, high performance basketball shoe. And this shoe is as good as it gets. Recently seen at a charity game rocking the new CP3.V, another low-cut shoe in his signature sneaker line, it is apparent that Paul is chomping at the bit to rock this new pair of low-cut kicks in a NBA regular season game. In fact, between the CP3.V and this new CP 2'Quick, Paul has the best line of low-cut Jordan shoes for basketball available in the marketplace. However with the end of the NBA lockout nowhere in sight, we may not see Paul rock these shoes on the court anytime soon. That doesn't mean you can't.

New Jordan 8.0 Shoes for Basketball

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
Leave my Jordan Retros alone! I know that is exactly what some of the many avid Jordan shoe fanatics are saying right now. My Retros are perfectly fine they way they are. The original Jordan 8 needs absolutely no changes made to it. In fact, there is not a single pair of Jordan Retros that I own that needs to be tampered with. I hear all those comments every single day. And I completely understand. The Air Jordan 8 is an epic shoe. It is the shoe Michael Jordan wore on his way to a 3rd NBA Finals Championship Ring. Why mess with it?
Well, Jordan Brand feels like this epic shoe needed some re-tooling to improve the performance standards that are needed for today's basketball player. JB felt like some updated technology was necessary on the Jordan 8. As a result, the new Jordan 8.0 was created with some of the most innovative, high performance technology in the basketball shoe game.
Nike Flywire side panels now make up this new shoe's upper and replaces the internal padding of the original. The shoe's silhouette has been slimmed down to create a lower and sleeker shoe. In addition the re-enforced strap system has been streamlined with updated technology specifications. Yes, I know, for some, these changes still don't justify the reasoning behind the changing of a classic Jordan.
Regardless, JB is going to release this new shoe in five different colorways during the month of October. The first will be a White/Varsity Red/Metallic Silver on the 22nd of this month. Included in the upcoming releases is the epic Jordan 8 "Playoffs" colorway. This new 8.0 will use the same color scheme of that classic. Black is featured on the upper and strap system. The midsole uses both Metallic Silver and White along with the famous paint splatter design that is also used on the inner lining. The Jumpman logo is seen on the heel and tongue branding. Completing the shoe off is a Black solid rubber outsole.
Whether you like it or not, the new Air Jordan 8.0 will release in a fair amount of colorways this October. I certainly was in the "not like" category upon first glance of this shoe. This pair of Jordan shoes for basketball just didn't seem right. Oddly enough, the more and more I look at this shoe, I find myself in the "like" category.

A Pair Of Red Kobe Bryant Shoes

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
Are you a really passionate person? According to the "color experts", if you consider yourself to be extremely passionate about life in general, you are naturally drawn to the color red. That means you wear red clothing, drive a red car, and decorate your home in red. Or so they say. If this logic holds true, then the sneakerheads that get really excited about a new red shoe release are very passionate people. A red colorway of a new Jordan or Nike basketball shoe will be their's to love forever. Because, you see, according to these color experts the color red also represents intense love. Having great love and passion for shoes doesn't make any single color the only alternative for sneakerheads. That includes red. But, I sure love the way red looks on a pair of basketball kicks. In fact, I feel pretty passionate about a sick pair of basketball shoes that features the color red.
And the Kobe VI is very lovely. The scaly, snakeskin upper that Nike rolled out last year definitely makes the red colorway pop on this shoe. I am very passionate in saying that I love the recent red colorway of the Team Bank edition of the Kobe VI. This colorway is actually Varsity Red/White/Metallic Silver. The upper, tongue, laces, inner lining, and the heel portion of the outsole are all done in beautiful Varsity Red. The midsole, heel cup, and front section of the outsole are done in a clean White. The shoe is completed with a Metallic Silver heel cage. All this makes me warm and fuzzy inside. Like I am in love.
Red is the color that has always been associated with the heart. The heart of this red shoe is quite strong. Strong in performance that is. The Kobe VI uses a moldable upper that uses Nike Flywire and creates a very strong yet lightweight performance driven shoe. A conforming sockliner on top of a high density, full-length Phylon midsole provide the ultimate in impact protection. In addition, a Nike Zoom Air unit is placed in the heel to deliver maximum cushioning. A solid rubber outsole with flex grooves for unparalleled traction finishes this pair of the Kobe VI.
This red pair of Kobe Bryant shoes will most definitely satisfy the most passionate and loving sneakerheads. At least those who know what red truly represents say. In this case, I will not disagree with those "in the know." These colors experts I speak of have also noted that the color red represents anger. Well, as long as I have several pairs of red kicks in my closet, the last thing I am going to be is angry.

Green Nike Hyperdunk Supreme Shoes for Basketball

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
Supreme seems to be in large demand this days. Everybody wants a product that is supreme. Supreme pizza. Taco supreme. Supreme gasoline. If a product is deemed "Supreme" you just can't go wrong in purchasing it. And why not? Supreme is defined as being the highest in degree and quality. Who doesn't want the products that they buy to be of the highest quality? Not me. It has got to be Supreme.
When it comes to basketball shoes, if a shoe is labeled "Supreme" it has got to be a special shoe. The new Kobe VII will be dropping in a couple of months in a Supreme edition. And, starting next month, the same can be said of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011. So what is going to make this already stellar shoe Supreme? A webbed TPU overlay on the toebox placed on the current silhouette, that's what. This new edition to the classic silhouette of the Hyperdunk 2011 will provide increased durability and support.
The shoe's silhouette has become a the staple of the Hyperdunk that sneakerheads have come to expect with every new edition. The most significant design feature of the Hyperdunk's silhouette is the shoe's collar. It has always been very exaggerated from high to low. This unique collar design has not only given the Hypedunk it's signature look, it has always served as eleveated funcionality on the court. Nike shoe designer Leo Chang wanted to create a less restrictive cut in the shoe that a high-top shoe typically has. By creating a collar that moves from high to low in cut, pinching of the collar in the heel is eliminated. Although the Hyperdunk is considered a high-cut performance shoe, it allows for the flexibly and lightweight ride that a low-cut basketball shoe is capable of. Chang and his team added an external heel counter to allow the shoe to mold to the foot and create maximum lockdown in the rear foot portion of the shoe.
The first colorway of the new Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Supreme 2011 will use a beautiful Tonal Green color. This color is featured on the shoe's upper, laces, and a small portion of the midsole. The Swoosh uses Metallic Silver while Cool Grey takes up both the midsole and outsole. The new webbed TPU overlay is done in Tonal Green as well.
As of November 1, there will be a new edition to the already strong line of Nike shoes for basketball. Not just any new shoe. A shoe of the highest quality. A Supreme shoe.

Black Nike Hyperdunk Supreme Basketball Shoes

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
You didn't think Nike was just going to stop at the Hyperdunk this year did you? The Nike Hyperdunk was first released in 2008 and has quietly become one of the most popular shoes in Nike's basketball shoe line. Despite it's high quality, it has flown under the radar of the Kobe Bryant and LeBron James signature sneaker lines. It has been redesigned in various different ways over the last three years and has become one of the most successful performance-based basketball shoes on the market. Perhaps this year the Hyperdunk will get it's due. After all, this high performance shoe uses the same Nike design technologies that the Kobe and LeBron shoes do.
The new edition of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk Supreme features a Black upper with Grey and Silver accents throughout. The design element that Nike used on the shoe to make it "Supreme" is a webbed TPU toe overlay. On this pair the toe overlay is done in Grey and enhances the aesthetic appeal of the shoe. The heel cage, midsole, inner lining, and solid rubber outsole are also done in Grey. A Silver Swoosh provides a perfect color balance that finishes off the shoe. So, why add the TPU webbed overlay to the toe box of an already stellar shoe? Simply put, it was added to create the ultimate in durability and support.
In addition to this new design element, the Hyperdunk continues to use the innovative Nike technologies of Flywire and LunarLite Foam. These two technologies used on one shoe provide one of the lightest and strongest basketball shoes on the market. Flywire technology utilizes high-strength threads that are contained within two separate layers of TPU and allows for the foot to mold naturally to it. The result is a comfortable yet stable fit. The optimal cushioning system in the shoe's sole is highlighted by LunarLite Foam, a technology that took four years to perfect. This Nike technology is extremely soft and allows for the impact of the foot to be spread out more evenly. The LunarLite unit is located in the forefoot of the midsole of the Hyperdunk.
The Nike Hyperdunk 2011 is the product of several years of work by Nike and it's top technological shoe designers. This brand new look for the shoe has also taken years of work before it could be implemented. The new TPU overlay that now occupies the toe box of the shoe elevates the Hyperdunk to another level in appearance and performance design. Nike shoes for basketball just continue to get better and better.

New Jordan Retro Shoes For Basketball

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
They just continue to drop. The Air Jordan Retro 14 will see another colorway release. This current year will see at least two separate colorways of this epic shoe. For now that is. You never know what Jordan Brand will do in the next two months. But what we do know now is that a White/Red "Bulls" colorway of the Jordan 14 will grace us with its presence sometime early in 2012. The last shoe that Michael Jordan ever wore as a member of the Chicago Bulls is certainly getting its time in the spotlight.
This "Bulls" colorway as well as the other Jordan 14 Retro colorways, other than the legendary "Last Shot" edition, that have been released were never actually worn by Michaeln on the court. However, this White/Red colorway has always been considered one of the epic Jordan's that were worn during the Chicago Bulls' run of 6 NBA Finals Championships wins. It actually never was worn by MJ while on his way to 6 Championship Rings. Only the epic 14 "Last Shot" was ever worn in an NBA game. The original Air Jordan Retro 14's were released in 8 different colorways and were enormously popular. These shoes were designed by the famous shoe designer Tinker Hatfield. Hatfield used Michael's Ferrari 550M as inspiration in creating the first pair of Jordans to have metal tips.
The epic "Last Shot" Jordan 14's will release later this year and are one of the most anticipated shoe drops for sneakerheads and Jordanheads alike. In addition to that shoe there is a "Graphite" colorway of this shoe that has already been released as is fair game for basketball shoe fanatics. And now, news of a new colorway is here.
The upcoming colorway will feature an all White full-grain leather upper. Red is used on the midsole and Jordan branding on the tongue. The Jumpman logo and "23" sit on the rear portion of the heel cup while a solid rubber outsole is used to complete the shoe. Looking at this new colorway of one of the most legendary shoes that Jordan ever wore, it makes one wonder what could have been had he not retired. Perhaps not only would he have rocked several different colorways of this shoe but also a few more epic Jordans. As it is, the image of the Black/Red colorway on Michael's feet as he hit the last shot he ever took as a Bull will have to do. It was the last and only time this shoe was worn on the court by MJ.
The Jordan 14 Retro is truly one of the all-time great Jordan shoes for basketball. This is perfect opportunity for all sneaker fanatics to purchase a piece of history. Don't miss out on yours.

A New Nike Hyperfuse 2011 Colorway

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Scott_S_Oberholser]Scott S Oberholser
Nike sure does come up with the "coolest" color designs and descriptions. Those guys over in Beaverton must throw some basic colors at the wall to see what different colorways will stick. For example, Neon Yellow is now called "Volt." Staying in the Yellow category, the Nike guys decided that a Dark Yellow should be called "Del Sol." Well of course it should. It only follows that these guys would take a lighter version of Army Green and name it "Iguana." It obviously sounds so much cooler than the alternative. These are the same guys that have come up with at least half a dozen different versions of the color Red. Wow! Please don't misunderstand me, I am not complaining, I love color on my kicks. And I most certainly admire the unique descriptions of color that the company has created. These guys are geniuses! I am most definitely a fan.
One of the newest colorways that has dropped in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 is the hip new color that has also been seen on the LeBron Soldier V. That color would be Iguana. Again, after looking at the Hyperfuse in this new color, I am still a fan of the Nike shoes for basketball that are being produced. This new shoe uses Iguana on the upper of the shoe as well as the outsole. Black is used on the midsole, laces, and mesh panels of the shoe's upper. Max Orange, obviously a shade of the color that isn't quite orange, is used nicely as contrast on the shoe's Swoosh and inner lining. Two new Nike colors combined with the basic Black sure make up one sick looking shoe.
But this shoe not only looks good. It is built for high performance basketball. Nike Hyperfuse technology can be counted on to offer the most durable, lightweight, and breathable shoe that is currently available in a shoe for basketball. A Phylon midsole and Nike Zoon unit combine to offer the maximum in impact protection. As is the case with all Hyperfuse shoes, a solid rubber outsole with a herringbone traction system is used as the outsole and provides for the ultimate traction on the court. With all of the innovative technology behind it, the Nike Hyperfuse 2011 is still able to maintain a lightweight ride unmatched by any other shoe.
Including this new Iguana colorway, this shoe has dropped in many different colorways already. I am quite sure there will be several more colorways of this shoe added to a long list of Nike shoes for basketball. I can't wait to see what the next colorway is called. It is going to be epic! As I told you, I am a fan.
